Most of the stuff you see in these pictures was left by my predecessor. I paid her for the items before my arrival though. They were not free. XD;
I think the setup in the living room is kinda cute, and a good use of the small space.
See that incredibly old piece of scrap looking thing? That was my hot water heater. I honestly can't believe it survived as long as it did.
It's a pretty cramped space, huh? It looks a lot better now that I've had the water heater replaced and added shelving, but it's still tiny. XD I was honestly surprised to see the toilet in the same room as the bath. After studying abroad last year, I learned pretty quickly that having the toilet in the same room as anything else is disgusting. Heck, you have to put on different shoes to even GO in the toilet room. lmao
Another tiny room. This one isn't big enough for the dining table and chairs in there, so instead it's used as extra kitchen space, other storage, and space for recycle-ables and garbage.
And this would be why the refrigerator is in the other room. So small!
Lastly, this is what my bedroom looked like when I first arrived. I had to pull out futons every night to sleep.
And this is what it looks like now, after I purchased a bed! Big improvement imho. And for those of you thinking that I've lost the space I could've had with just futons, just think about all the extra storage space I have underneath my bed now. - -b
I really should take new pictures of everything now that things have been updated, but I'll save that for a later post. Thanks for looking!
